Ruby Kanzi
Ruby Kanzi is a committed and motivated Senior Construction Design Manager with a strong design management expertise and seasoned chartered architect with extensive projects experience covers the full range of skills from leadership, detail design to project delivery, stakeholder management and design innovation at many scales of the project.
Ruby worked on complex construction, infrastructure, architecture and master planning projects in the UK, Mainland China and the Middle East as well as conceptual design in schemes that combine transport interchanges and commercial developments.
Finalist at London Construction Award London 2022. Winner of various international architectural design competitions and positively acknowledged by several clients for delivering projects effectively and efficiently.

Ruby is RIBA Qualified (Royal Institute of British Architects), ARB Registered (Architects Registration Board) and APMP Trained and Certified.
She also holds a Master of Art Degree in Architecture in addition to Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture. Both from The University of Westminster, UK.
She also holds a BSc In Architectural Engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt.

Ruby’s illustrious career in Design & Construction spanned over 25 years and included working with Who’s Who in Architecture and Construction from the world renowned Foster and Partners, Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners to Wates Group, Atkins, Halcrow Group and Balfour Beatty Construction.
Ruby’s efforts extend to mentoring and empowerment of women. She has been a student mentor and volunteer on behalf of the Construction Industry Council in the UK and aside from this.
She also does volunteer work for young and aspiring construction professional within the British educational system, including undergraduate and postgraduate students of University College London, Chelsea College of Art, University of Westminster and University of Birmingham.
She was also shortlisted as a finalist for Wates Chairman Award’’ Mentor of the Year’’.
She was also requested by Wates Media to write up a blog Women in Construction and was published in Dec 2019 as an insight article in Wates Internal & External Website
Ruby Kanzi also has participated in preparation of Considerate Construction Scheme Presentation and application promoting Females working in Borough Yards Project 23 May 2019 and participated in Wates Myth Busting Video on– Wates and Saz Mediaon in Nov 2019.
In August 2021 she was shortlisted as a finalist to Wates Chairman Award ‘’ Mentor of the Year’’.
